Cookie Policy

Last updated: 8 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Cloudgrid Lab uses cookies and similar technologies on cloudgrid-lab.digital. For broader data practices, read our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. They help sites remember preferences, keep services secure, and understand aggregate traffic. Local storage may be used for similar purposes, including remembering your cookie consent choice.

Types we use

Essential cookies / storage — required for basic functions such as remembering consent and loading page components. These do not require consent in the same way optional analytics do, but we still disclose them.

Analytics cookies — used only if you Accept in our banner. They help us understand which pages are read and how navigation flows, in aggregate.

Cookies table

Name Purpose Duration Provider
cloudgrid-lab_cookie_consent Stores Accept or Reject choice for the cookie banner 1 year (localStorage) Cloudgrid Lab
cg_session Maintains a short-lived technical session for form abuse prevention when enabled Session Cloudgrid Lab
_cg_analytics Aggregated page-view metrics (set only after Accept) 6 months Cloudgrid Lab analytics
_cg_analytics_id Random identifier linking analytics events for a browser (Accept only) 6 months Cloudgrid Lab analytics

How to manage or disable cookies

Use the Accept or Reject buttons on our banner. Rejecting does not block site functionality. You can also clear site data in your browser settings or block cookies entirely. If you previously accepted and want to change your mind, clear localStorage for this site or remove the cloudgrid-lab_cookie_consent key, then reload the page to see the banner again.

Third-party cookies

Embedded fonts or media loaded from third-party CDNs may set their own cookies or use network logging according to those providers’ policies. We minimize third-party embeds where practical. Microsoft Store links redirect to Microsoft properties, which have their own privacy and cookie practices.

Impact of disabling

Disabling essential storage may cause the consent banner to reappear frequently. Disabling analytics only affects our ability to measure traffic; courses, legal pages, and contact forms continue to work.
